Monthly Tip
Reputable education organizations will NOT charge fees for the scholarship searches they offer. Do not be fooled by “special offers” lurking on the Internet. Be wary of questionable claims and avoid fee-for-service offers. If you have a question about the legitimacy of a scholarship search service, please call the Commission at 877-272-4456. The Federal Trade Commission offers tips on recognizing scams and how to file a complaint.
Welcome
Every year thousands of Iowa students and families benefit from the services of the Iowa College Student Aid Commission. The Commission is a state agency that advocates for Iowa students and administers scholarship, grant, loan and related programs to help students finance education expenses at colleges and universities of their choice. Commission services include administration of student financing, information services, research, and program evaluation.
Our Mission
We advocate for, and provide a continuum of services to support, Iowa students and families as they explore and finance educational opportunities beyond high school.
